OUDIQ What does OUDIQ mean?
“OUD” refers to agarwood, the material at the heart of our brand. “IQ” expresses our thoughtful approach to understanding materials and composing fragrances. Together, OUDIQ connects our oud manufacturing roots with contemporary Indian perfumery.
Who owns OUDIQ?
OUDIQ is owned by Valrion Ventures LLP, formerly OUDIQ Perfumes LLP. Our brand attribution is “OUDIQ — A Valrion Ventures Brand”.
How did OUDIQ begin?
Our founder Vikram Barve’s thirteen years in Oman shaped his interest in oud. A journey to Assam with perfumer Kaushik Dey deepened that understanding through visits to agarwood plantations and distillation houses. Our oud oil manufacturing through Valrion Ventures LLP became the foundation from which OUDIQ was created.
What makes OUDIQ different?
OUDIQ begins with our own oud oil manufacturing in Assam. We bring that connection to the source into original fragrance compositions, with balance and everyday wearability guiding the collection. Our four perfumes offer different expressions of this creative direction.
What products does OUDIQ offer?
We have launched four perfumes: Opal Harmony, Silver Spice, Fresh Fields and Woody Oud, alongside a Discovery Set. Oud oils, mukhallat and bakhoor are planned additions and will be listed when available.
Can I gift OUDIQ perfumes?
Yes. Our perfumes and Discovery Set can be chosen for birthdays, anniversaries, festivals and other occasions. For corporate or bulk gifting enquiries, contact care@oudiq.com to discuss availability and requirements.
Is Attaran part of OUDIQ?
Attaran is a separate brand owned by the same company, Valrion Ventures LLP. OUDIQ and Attaran have their own product identities.
Fragrances
What concentration are OUDIQ perfumes?
Our current perfume collection is formulated with 25% fragrance concentrate. Please check the individual product page and label for its concentration and intended use.
How long do OUDIQ fragrances last?
Our current fragrances are designed for lasting wear, with an indicative longevity of around 8–10 hours. Actual performance varies with the fragrance, fabric, amount applied, climate and storage. This is an approximate guide, not a guarantee.
Are your perfumes suitable for men or women?
Our four perfumes are designed to be unisex. Choose the fragrance character you enjoy, whether floral, fresh, spicy or woody.
Will the fragrance smell exactly the same every time?
The same perfume can be experienced differently depending on the fabric, application, temperature, humidity and your perception of scent. Allow time to experience its opening and dry down.
Are OUDIQ fragrances inspired by other perfumes?
OUDIQ develops original compositions with perfumer Kaushik Dey. Our collection explores different fragrance characters with Assam oud at the heart of the creative direction, rather than being marketed as copies of other perfumes.

Ingredients
& Quality Does OUDIQ use real oud?
Yes. Authentic Assam oud oil is used in our four signature perfumes. Valrion Ventures LLP, the company behind OUDIQ, manufactures oud oil in Assam. That connection to the material is the foundation of the brand. Each perfume combines oud with other materials to create its own character; these are composed fragrances, not pure oud oils.
Where are your perfumes made?
Our perfumes are developed and manufactured in India. Our parent company manufactures oud oil in Assam; the manufacture of the finished perfume is a separate stage. The relevant manufacturer and packer details appear on each product’s packaging.
Why do you use both natural and synthetic ingredients?
Different materials contribute different qualities to a perfume. Natural ingredients bring their own nuances, while aroma molecules expand the perfumer’s creative choices and can support consistency and performance. We choose materials for the needs of each composition.
Do your perfumes contain natural ingredients?
Yes. Our perfumes combine selected natural materials, including Assam oud oil, with modern aroma molecules. They are not presented as entirely natural perfumes. Ingredients and relevant precautions should be checked on the product information and label.
Are your perfumes cruelty free?
OUDIQ does not test its finished perfumes on animals. This statement does not by itself represent independent cruelty free certification or a verified claim covering every ingredient supplier.
Are OUDIQ perfumes safe for everyone?
No fragrance can be guaranteed suitable for every person or material. Follow the product label, intended use and precautions. Our current apparel perfumes are intended for clothing rather than direct skin application. Stop use if a problem occurs and contact us for assistance.
Discovery
Set What is the Discovery Set?
The Discovery Set includes four 2 ml spray samples: Opal Harmony, Silver Spice, Fresh Fields and Woody Oud. It lets you explore the collection before choosing a full size bottle.
Why should I try the Discovery Set first?
Fragrance preferences are personal. Sampling lets you experience the opening, development and lasting character of each composition in your own surroundings. Follow the sample label and test apparel perfumes on a suitable, inconspicuous fabric area first.
Can I wear a 2 ml sample multiple times?
Yes. A 2 ml vial allows several applications. The number of sprays depends on the sample sprayer and amount used, so a fixed spray count is not guaranteed.
Are the samples the same fragrances as the full size bottles?
The set contains samples of the same four fragrance compositions offered in our current collection. Follow the sample’s own usage instructions; application can differ with the vial’s sprayer.
Can I gift the Discovery Set?
Yes. It is a way to introduce someone to the four fragrances and let them discover their preference before choosing a full size bottle.
Orders
& Shipping How long does delivery take?
Orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 business days. Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days after dispatch across most serviceable locations in India, depending on your postcode and courier. The schedule shown for your order at checkout or in your confirmation applies. Contact care@oudiq.com if your order is delayed.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery?
Cash on Delivery is available only for eligible orders and locations where the option appears at checkout.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order is dispatched, we send tracking details by email and, where enabled, SMS or WhatsApp. Please contact us if tracking does not update or shows delivery you have not received.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently offer delivery to serviceable addresses in India. International delivery is planned for selected countries. It will be available only when expressly offered at checkout or confirmed by us before payment.
Can I cancel or return an order?
You can request cancellation before dispatch. We do not offer returns solely for a change of mind or dislike of a fragrance. Genuine claims for damaged, defective, incorrect or missing goods, non delivery and other applicable consumer remedies are handled under our Return Refund and Cancellation Policy.
